Wright State’s four game winning streak ended with a thud in Youngstown on Thursday night.  The Raiders were pounded by the Penguins 88-70 in a game that saw former Wayne high school star Darius Quisenberry score a career high 41 points for the home team.

Wright State had no answer for Quisenberry who scored 25 of his points in the first half including five three pointers as the Raiders trailed by five at halftime.

Loudon Love led the way for Wright State with a 17-point effort while Bill Wampler added 16 points.  Jordan Ash provided a spark off the bench with 10 points, his third double-digit effort of the season.

The Raiders trailed by six points with six minutes to play when the Penguins went on an 11-0 run to blow it open.  Youngstown State scored 17 of the final 22 points.  Wright State missed the last eight shots they took.

There’s not much time to dwell on the loss.  The Raiders get back on a bus and head to Cleveland where they face off against Cleveland State Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
