"We'll talk politics and the importance of casting your ballot," Collins said in a Facebook post. "I want to make sure everyone in Ohio votes, and I need your help. Come hang out with me and bring all your friends."
He will also make stops in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati with a high school friend.
Collins supports Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
He is among a long list of celebrities who have visited the Dayton area recently.
Several have come in support of Clinton or Donald J. Trump, her Republican rival for the presidency.
Collins has also had recurring roles on "ER" and "24." He has appeared on "NCIS," "Nip/Tuck," "Monk," and "Charmed."
