Stretch your body, mind and tastebuds at new lunchbox yoga series inside the Schuster Center

Victoria Theatre Association is launching its next venture in the Unwind Series — Lunchbox Yoga.

At 11:30 a.m. Aug. 8, 15 and 29, guests can stretch both their bodies and taste buds through gentle yoga and a tasty lunch.

The event will take place in the Emerson Lounge facing the palm trees of the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center.

Catered by Citilites, lunch options include: macadamia nut hummus wrap (vegan, vegetarian); strawberry salad with grilled chicken and balsamic dressing on side (gluten free); or vegan walnut salad with avocado-lime vinaigrette (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free). You can also participate in yoga without opting for lunch.

The cost to attend is $15, and the session open to all levels of yoga practitioners. Dress comfortably and bring your own yoga mat. Patrons may come and go as they please.
