“It’s a great way to get involved in the Water Street District community and to see how much the neighborhood continues to grow,” said Bailey Dunham, events specialist for the Water Street District. “With Day Air Ballpark being within Water Street District, we wanted to bring the community together and help highlight the neighborhood.”
Businesses participating in the event include Base Camp Outdoor Co., Local Cantina, Alta Fiber, Winans Coffee and more.
Party at the Plaza will feature inflatables for kids, oversized lawn games, cornhole and other family activities. There will also be a raffle at the event, with prizes including Winans chocolate, a hand-painted mural, Dayton Dragons merch and more. Dragons’ mascots Gem and Heater will also be in attendance.

At 7:05 p.m., the Dayton Dragons will face the Cedar Rapids Kernels, the first of a five-game series.

“It has been well-loved by the community and we’re excited to bring it back next season with the Dayton Dragons,” Dunham said.
