Crew Factory stores are located in outlet malls (such as in Tanger Outlets in Jeffersonville) and often a considerable drive for most shoppers, the Mercantile stores are conveniently located in shopping centers and offer the same merchandise found in the Factory stores: basic J. Crew styles as well as last season's designs made out of budget-friendly fabric and other materials.
J. Crew Mercantile stores are different from J. Crew Retail stores, which specialize in the latest, high-end fashions and are located in larger cities, such as Cincinnati, Columbus and Indianapolis.
