Warren County reported 53 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday, seven more than the day before.

According to the Ohio Department of Health, the number of hospitalized cases increased from seven to nine.

“This is just how it’s going to be for the next little bit,” said Shelly Norton of the Warren County Health Department.

Norton again urged everyone to stay it at home and wash their hands.

The gender breakdown was 34 men and 18 women, with one unknown, according to the state’s online data Thursday.

The ages range from 20 to 79 years old, including 18 40 to 49 years old and 11 60 to 69 years old, and nine in both the 20 to 29 and 70 to 79 ranges, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

Rather than particularly hazardous to the very old, very young or otherwise compromised, “It’s something that’s going to affect all of us,” Norton said.

Still no deaths have been reported in Warren County.
