Taxes shouldn’t help fund Planned Parenthood

I strongly believe that Congress must separate Planned Parenthood from our tax dollars in any future budget. During this time of fiscal crisis, why are hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars being sent to America’s largest abortion provider? Each year it receives more than $360 million in taxpayer funding.

Abortion is not health care, and Planned Parenthood is an abortion-centered organization.

An undercover video released in February appears to show the office manager of a New Jersey Planned Parenthood clinic encouraging a presumed sex trafficker to have 14-year-old girls lie about their ages to receive services. Americans don’t want their tax dollars going to such an organization in a time of fiscal crisis.

If Congress is serious about cutting spending, it should start with Planned Parenthood.
