Life Resource Centre is looking for pro-life mentors. Help support young, low-income moms nurture their children while you serve as a role model for positive parenting. The next mentor training will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Find out how you can make a difference in the life of a young mom through this eight-month commitment. Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office Victim Witness Division is seeking phone and hospital advocate volunteers. The agency will work with volunteers' schedules. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and must have reliable transportation to drive to local hospitals within 30 tp 40 minutes. Each volunteer will go through a 20-hour training course for either position that takes place during three weeks. A background check is provided by the agency. A training manual also will be provided. The next training class begins Oct. 4.
