She said the concerts at Keehner Park represent brass bands, symphonic bands, big bands, steel drum bands, classic rock and more. There’s something for everyone.

The series will feature a mix of new acts like Britney’s Lipstick and Big Trouble Blues Band, along with several returning favorites. The concerts will begin on June 1 with the Cincinnati Brass Band, and wrap up on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2, with the West Chester Symphony Orchestra.
“We are so fortunate in the community to have a place like Keehner Park with the beautiful amphitheater. It’s nestled into the woods a little bit; you can bring a chair or a blanket and sit on the lawn. It’s another great place to bring kids and there’s a playground nearby,” Wilson said.
With the exception of the Labor Day concert on Sept. 2, which starts at 6:30 p.m., all other concerts will begin at 7 p.m. at the Keehner Park Amphitheatre stage. The summer-long concert series will showcase favorites like Blue Stone Ivory, Southwestern Ohio Symphonic Band, 122nd Army Band, P&G Big Band and more. The West Chester Symphony Orchestra will also perform twice this summer, including at a community ice cream social at the park on June 22.
Concertgoers at Keehner Park not only enjoy the music, but the surroundings. In addition to the amphitheatre, other amenities at the 120-acre park include picnic shelters, playgrounds, baseball fields, tennis courts and basketball courts. There are also wooded trails, which are great for walking and cross-country running.
“I’m not sure that our residents are all familiar with it, or have taken advantage of it, but I hope more come to realize that it’s there, and the concerts are another way we bring the park to life by offering these concerts, and bringing people into the park,” Wilson said.
Although there’s no alcohol served or food concessions available, guests can pack a picnic, spread a blanket, and bring games for their children to play.
