Hot, humid today with chance of showers and thunderstorms

We will see a chance of showers and thunderstorms for the majority of today, as humid conditions push heat index values into the low 90s, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Rain chances are forecast to trail off in the late evening.

Tonight, we will see some quieter weather, with partly cloudy skies and a lot of around 67 degrees.

Tomorrow, we will start seeing some sun, with partly sunny skies and a high of around 86 degrees. Tomorrow night some of the remaining clouds will clear, with temperatures cooling overnight to around 66 degrees.

For Saturday, there will be mostly sunny skies, with a high of around 89 degrees, followed by a mostly clear night and a low of around 67 degrees.
