One transported to hospital after pedestrian strike in Dayton

A male was transported to the hospital after a pedestrian strike Sunday afternoon, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Initial reports show that a vehicle struck a male in the 2400 block of East Third Street around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The male was transported to Miami Valley Hospital, but he was conscious and breathing when an ambulance arrived on the scene, dispatchers reported.

Information regarding the vehicle involved in the strike was not available.
