71-year-old man hit, killed by pickup truck in Riverside

His cause and manner of death have not been determined at this time.

Crews were called around 8:20 p.m. to Woodman Drive near Woodbine Avenue.

Riverside police Maj. Adam Colon said Myers was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The area is lit and initial reports are that Myers was not at a crosswalk when he was attempting to cross the street, Colon said.

The accident remains under investigation.
