Unseasonably warm weather Tuesday closed the RiverScape MetroPark’s outdoor ice rink in downtown Dayton.

The ice rink will reopen Wednesday, and will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to a Facebook post.

The Dayton region has experienced unusually warm weather over the Christmas holidays. On Christmas Eve, the high was 56 degrees, on Christmas it reached 60 degrees and for Wednesday the high was around 58 degrees.
