1,300 DP&L customers without power after storms roll through region Sunday

More than 1,300 Dayton Power & Light customers were without power Monday after thunderstorms, rain and window hit the Miami Valley Sunday.

As of 2:23 p.m., there were 1,343 customers without service, according to the DP&L outage map.

Just after noon, 6,565 customers were without power.

More than 200 customers in the Xenia area and nearly 275 west of Dayton were impacted. More than 450 customers northeast of Waynesville were also affected by the outages.

It is not clear if the outages were the result of Sunday’s storms or if there was another issue.

The following outages were reported by DP&L:

  • Greene County: 504
  • Montgomery County: 358
  • Warren County: 463
