Fire investigators said the fire started in a parked car that was running inside the barn. What caused the car to catch on fire hasn't been determined, but the fire was ruled accidential.
The barn was destroyed, along with two automobiles and miscellaneous equipment. The structure was no longer used for farming.
A damage estimate has not been set.
There were no reports of injuries.
Wapakoneta firefighters received help at the scene from Cridersville, Uniopolis, Wayne Township and St. Johns fire departments.
