Guests bought tickets and auction items to raise money so David Hilderbrand and his wife can take care of Chris and a whole lot more.
David Hilderbrand said, "There needs to be more people in the world that does what the VFW is doing tonight."
Hilderbrand has missed several weeks of work since the accident and he said proceeds from the benefit will help him pay for the funerals of his loved ones.
