Biker dogs spotted in Dayton

The dog days of summer may be over, but two pups in the Miami Valley are taking full advantage of the final days of the season.

Dan Mauro was spotted driving around Brown Street in Dayton Tuesday, with his dogs Jake and Barney in the sidecar of his motorcycle.

Mauro said he takes his dogs with him all over. Spectators were taking photos of the cute sight Tuesday.

“Bring a biscuit next time,” Mauro said with a laugh as he drove off.

The start of fall is Sept. 22.
