No arrests or citations at Butler County OVI checkpoint

The Butler County OVI Task Force made no arrests or issued any citations at Friday’s OVI checkpoint in Oxford.

Pete Reising, task force coordinator, said the task force checked 212 vehicles at the checkpoint set up from 10:15 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at 500 S. Locust St.

Eight vehicles were diverted for further investigation but did not result in any citations or arrests, Reising said.

The checkpoint was operated by officers from Oxford police, Oxford Twp. police, Miami University police and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers.
