Powell’s vehicle, which was westbound on Ridge Avenue, struck the right side of the Corvette, which was going north on Limestone Street, the release said. The Corvette, driven by Everett Ferryman, 46, of Marysville, spun out of control and subsequently went off the right side of the road, striking a speed limit sign and a cement barrier.
Ferryman and his passenger, Robin Harsh, 45, of Milford Center, were seriously injured as a result of the accident. Both were initially transported to Springfield Regional Hospital, and later flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital, according to the release.
Harsh was listed in fair condition early Monday morning, but a Miami Valley Hospital spokeswoman said they don’t have Ferryman as a patient. We are checking with the Highway Patrol to determine is condition and whereabouts.
