6-year-old-boy run over while playing in parking spot, taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital

UPDATE @ 11:45 p.m.:

A 6-year-old-boy is at Dayton Children’s Hospital after he was run over Sunday afternoon while playing at the Barclay Square Condominiums.

The boy was on a skateboard on his knees when police say someone backing out of a parking spot didn’t see him and the boy went under the car.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Alex Bell and Lamme Roads.

Police say right now the incident looks like an accident.

INITIAL REPORT:

Police responded to the 2300 block of Crew Circle for a report of a child hit by a car around 3 p.m., Sunday afternoon, according to dispatch.

The child was taken to the hospital, but details on the extent of his injuries is not available at this time.
