Missing Greene County man with dementia has been found

A missing adult alert issued for 78-year-old Dennis Long has been canceled.

Long was located safe in Zanesville, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

INITIAL REPORT:

A missing adult alert has been issued for a 78-year-old man by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

Dennis S. Long, described as 5-feet 11-inches tall, went missing around 10 a.m. Sunday, and was last seen on Fairground Road in Xenia driving a maroon and beige 1998 Chevrolet Silverado with a harness racing decal in the back window.

Long suffers from dementia and is need of medication, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office said.

Police are asking that you contact your local law enforcement agency if you see this man or his vehicle.
