Power pole expected to take several hours to fix, road remains closed in the area

UPDATE @ 7:40 p.m.:

Crews are on scene and working to fix the damaged pole, but it is expected to take several hours.

The pole was reportedly dislodged during some gusty winds this afternoon and is now hanging about 2 feet over the roadway, according to initial dispatch reports.

Meanwhile, the road remains closed in that area.

INITIAL REPORT:

A Frontier Communications power pole is down and in the roadway on Union Blvd. between Wenger Road and Porter Lane, according to dispatch.

The road is currently shut down in that area until crews are able to remove the pole.
