Single-vehicle accident shuts down OH-571 entering New Carlisle

A single-vehicle accident has shut down OH-571 heading east into New Carlisle.

Clark County Sheriff and New Carlisle Fire Department crews were dispatched to the area at approximately 8:10 p.m. after a Cadillac struck a utility pole, splitting it half.

DP&L has arrived on scene to remove the broken power line from the roadway.

No injuries were reported.
