Missing Dayton man found safe; alert has been canceled

The Missing Adult Alert for Fred Bowling has been canceled, as he has been found safe.

INITIAL REPORT:

They Dayton police department has issued a statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert for a Dayton man, 89.

Fred Bowling suffers from Dementia and was last seen driving away from his residence on Saint Charles Avenue in Dayton where he failed to return, according to a release from the police department.

Bowling is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes.

He is approximately 5-foot, 11-inches tall, weighs 190 pounds, and was last seen wearing a white tank top, khaki pants and a black Bengals hat.

Bowling was driving a black 2002 Chevy S10 with Ohio license plate number GJL9391.

Officials are asking that you call or dial 911 if you see the Bowling or his vehicle.
