The Red Cross has concluded the mass care phase of operations including feeding, sheltering and distributing emergency supplies.
The organization will continue to support victims of the Memorial Day tornado outbreak by working closely with local emergency management and community partners.
Since the outbreak, the Red Cross has operated seven shelters, providing 1,781 overnight stays.
The Red Cross was able to provide the Miami Valley the following with the help of 626 volunteers and staff from across the country:
- Meals: 11,919
- Snacks: 14,991
- Cases of bottled water: 1,320
- Cleanup kits: 1,703
- Comfort kits: 1,929
- Disaster kits: 1,868
