The truck reportedly slid off the road and hit two power poles at around 6:40 p.m., snapping them both and hitting one of the main poles with a transformer on it, according to dispatch.

The transformer and part of one of the poles landed on the hood of the driver’s truck causing a power outage in Yellow Springs for over three hours.

The driver was taken to Soin Medical Center and power was restored at 10 p.m.
