A Butler County woman who was struck outside her vehicle Friday has died.
With Warren County Sheriff’s Office deputies on their way to a crash that occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Butler Warren Road near Heritage Club Drive, two uninvolved motorists exited their vehicles to assist.
Shortly before deputies arrived on scene, those two people — 53-year-old Tina Campbell, of Liberty Twp., and 49-year-old Aaron Reed, of Mason — were struck outside their vehicles.
Both were taken to West Chester Hospital, where Campbell was pronounced dead and Reed was treated for his injuries.
The sheriff’s office does not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor, and the crash remains under investigation.
