3 arrested after drugs, gun, cash seized during bulk smuggling task force raid

Three Dayton men were arrested last week after an investigation resulted in a large seizure of drugs, guns and cash, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The Miami Valley Bulk Smuggling Task Force, FBI and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office seized over 20 kilograms of suspected fentanyl, 1,500 grams of suspected meth, 500 grams of suspected heroin, three firearms and over $30,000 in cash.

Authorities arrested Shamar Davis, 31, Anthony Franklin, 30, and Grady Jackson, 37 after gathering evidence they were allegedly involved in narcotics trafficking. They are all charged for possession with intent to distribute 400 or more grams of fentanyl and possession of a firearm.
