A felon just released from prison in August is back behind bars, accused of kidnapping and attempted rape.
Robert Erik Keffer, 41, of Dayton, was indicted Friday on two counts of kidnapping and one count of attempted rape, all with repeat violent offender specifications.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
Keffer is being held without bond in the Montgomery County Jail, where he has been since his Oct. 29 arrest by Dayton police.
At the time of his arrest, he was under supervision by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction’s Adult Parole Authority following his Aug. 28 release from the Warren Correctional Institution in Lebanon for a 2011 aggravated robbery conviction in Montgomery County.
