Anthony Aaron Jadwin Jr., 30, of Dayton, was indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury on aggravated robbery, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and grand theft of a motor vehicle, according to the prosecutor's office.
He was previously convicted of burglary, kidnapping, felonious assault and complicity to commit aggravated robbery.
Because of his past conviction, Jadwin’s aggravated robbery charge has a repeat violent offender specification.

The charges stem from a May 20 incident, when Jadwin reportedly stole a woman’s SUV at a Sam’s Club gas station in Butler Twp.
A chase began after Montgomery County and Dayton officers spotted the SUV on I-75 south, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Jadwin exited the highway at Austin Boulevard and the SUV’s tires were punctured by stop sticks at South Gettysburg Avenue.
He lost control and crashed in the East Fifth and South and Wright streets area and was taken into custody.

“This defendant brazenly stole the victim’s car in broad daylight,” said Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. “This defendant clearly has no respect for the safety of others, as he then led officers in a high‐speed pursuit.”
