Dayton man, 52, accused of more than a dozen child rape charges now in jail

Richard J. Gibson was arrested Monday afternoon and booked into the Montgomery County Jail, where he is being held without bond.

There was a warrant out for his arrest after he was indicted Friday on 16 counts of rape of a juvenile younger than 13, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

A warrant was issued Friday for the arrest of a 52-year-old Dayton man accused of more than a dozen child rape charges.

Richard J. Gibson was indicted Friday on 16 counts of rape of a juvenile younger than 13, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.
