Man accused of child sex assaults sentenced

UPDATE 12:49 p.m. (Aug. 17):

Eric Clark has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Following his release from prison he will have to register as a tier-3 sex offender.

UPDATE 12:38 p.m. (Aug. 17):

Eric Clark is scheduled to be sentenced today after he pleaded guilty to rape and gross sexual imposition.

UPDATE @ 4:50 p.m. (Aug. 10): Eric Clark has pleaded guilty to one count of rape by force and two counts of gross sexual imposition, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office.

He remains in the county jail on $500,000 bond on the felony charges.

Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 17 in Judge Barbara Gorman’s courtroom.

FIRST REPORT (Jan. 28)

Montgomery Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting two children under the age of 13, according to officials.

Eric Clark was arrested this morning and was being transported to the Montgomery County Jail, according to deputies.

Officials said the victims were known to Clark.

Clark was being booked on suspicion of rape of a child under 10 years-old and gross sexual imposition of a child under the age of 13, deputies said.
