Man smashes into Beavercreek Best Buy, steals items

Police are investigating after a man smashed his way into the Best Buy in Beavercreek and stole an unknown number of items, according to Beavercreek Police Sgt. Nick Amato.

The Best Buy is located at 2907 Centre Drive, near the Fairfield Commons.

Amato said that the man broke into into the store at around 3:40 a.m. by smashing the glass. He then took the items and left.

The sergeant added that police are working on a description of the suspect using surveillance footage, while store employees conduct an inventory to determine what exactly was stolen.

Initial reports indicated that the stolen items may have been laptop computers.

Beavercreek police have asked that anyone with information on the break-in call the police department at 937-426-1225.
