Police cleared the scene around 5:40 a.m. and said no arrests had been made.

A K9 was on scene but left just after 5 a.m.

FIRST REPORT
Fairborn police have been dispatched on reports of an armed robbery at the Extended Stay America Thursday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the hotel at 3737 Presidential Drive in Fairborn after a clerk reported an armed robbery around 3:50 a.m.
According to initial scanner traffic, a masked, armed man held up the hotel and left through a back door.
A K9 officer from Kettering police has been requested to the scene.
There have been no initial reports of injuries.
This is the second armed robbery of a hotel in the Miami Valley this week. On Monday, two armed men held up the Knights Inn in Moraine, an incident that was caught on surveillance video.
