Gunman robs Dollar General in Trotwood

A gunman with blond dreadlocks robbed a Dollar General Tuesday night in Trotwood.

The robbery was reported around 7:40 p.m. at the store, 4000 Salem Ave.

The suspect left the store with an undetermined amount of cash and later got into a vehicle and left, police said.

The suspect stood 5 feet, 5 inches and had a black turtleneck covering his face. He was wearing blue jeans with white paint and a brown hooded sweatshirt, according to call logs at the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

A Dayton Police Department K-9 was called to help track the suspect.

No injuries were reported.
