Police investigate armed robbery at Dayton Arby’s

Police are investigating an armed robbery Friday morning at a Dayton Arby’s.

Crews responded around 11:37 a.m. to 2848 Salem Avenue on reports of the robbery.

Two males robbed the restaurant at gunpoint before fleeing the scene in a light blue vehicle heading towards Trotwood, according to Montgomery County Regional dispatch.

According to the 911, the caller told dispatchers they overheard the robbers say, “hands up, everybody don’t move, what’s the code to the safe?”

One male was wearing a black hoodie that’s tied-up and the other male was wearing a white mask.

The suspects were not able to get away with any money, according to the restaurant.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
