Riverside man indicted on murder in father’s death

A Riverside man accused of attacking and killing his father has been indicted on murder.

David Streeter, 30, is facing two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 20.

David Streeter is accused of killing his father, Donald Streeter, inside his Robinwood Avenue home between Feb. 8 and Feb. 9.

“David Streeter struck Donald Streeter in the head, face, neck and other areas with a metal broom handle, as well as his fists,” detectives wrote in a statement of facts.

Police responded to the 5400 block of Robinwood Drive around 11 a.m. Feb. 9 after Donald Streeter was found dead.

David Streeter was taken into custody that afternoon.
