In addition to murder, Tunstall was also found guilty on felonious assault and conspiring with a co-defendant, Miquan Hubbard, in the fatal shooting of Jarius Gilbert, Jr., a Wilson Middle School student, on the night of Aug. 29, 2018.
Hubbard pleaded guilty in March to murder with a gun specification. Prosecutors say Hubbard, 19, of Village Street, is the shooter.

Because two of the charges Tunstall was found guilty on included gun specifications, he faced a minimum of life in prison with the possibility of parole after 21 years, according to Kraig Chadrick, assistant Butler County prosecuting attorney.
Pater said Tunstall must register for 10 years as a “violent offender” when he is released from prison.
