Dayton firm lands $28M Marine Corps contract

The Marine Corps has awarded a $28.3 million contract to a Dayton firm to manage storage of equipment and supplies for the military branch around the world, according to the Department of Defense.

Lion-Vallen Industries, of Dayton, which has had similar prior contracts with the Marine Corps, could receive an option to extend the contract for eight months, pushing the total value to $47.7 million through October 2017, the Defense Department said.
