Dispute Leads To Hit And Run Outside McDonald’s

Police in Riverside are looking for a truck with serious damage from a hit-and-run accident.

Officers said it appears a dispute over a woman set off a fight overnight outside the McDonald’s near Stebbins High School on Harshman Road.

Authorities said Joe Cunningham, 26, used a baseball bat to damage a pickup truck. The driver of the truck then tried to run over Cunningham.

Cunningham was taken to a local hospital, while the driver fled the scene.

Police said they are looking for a dark blue or dark green Ford F-150 pickup truck occupied by three or four white males.

Cunningham is listed serious, but stable condition at Miami Valley Hospital.
