District could eliminate 20 positions, replace daycare services

Kettering School district is “strongly considering” removing its before- and after-school programs, according to Kari Basson of district’s Community Relations office.

A final decision has not been made, but the program would be replaced with daycare services offered by the YMCA, affecting about 20 district staff members. Those staff members have been notified of potential changes, according to Basson.

We are working to find out more about the district’s plans and will update this story when we have more details.
