Driver, 86, distracted by cellphone in Beavercreek crash

The Phillips Land Improvement Center, 636 Phillips Drive in Beavercreek, sustained significant damage when a man crashed his Ford F-150 into the building.

According to the crash report filed by Beavercreek police, the 86-year-old driver from Riverside was distracted by his cellphone when he attempted to park the red pickup truck and lost control Saturday morning.

The man was not hurt, but the front wall, landscaping and items inside the building were all damaged in the incident.
