Dry, cloudy for Thanksgiving Day; Clouds to clear to start weekend

After a rainy Wednesday, we will see much calmer weather for Thanksgiving Day, if still overcast, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

We will have some light wind, with highs rising to around 52 degrees.

Tonight will be much the same, except that the wind will die down more. Skies will be cloudy as temperatures fall to around 43 degrees.

Friday will also be dry, and clouds will break up somewhat during the day, although it will remain mostly cloudy. Highs will be around 54 degrees.

Friday night clouds will continue to clear as temperatures drop, reaching a low of around 32 degrees.

By Saturday morning, clouds will mostly have cleared, for a cool and sunny day. Highs will rise to around 49 degrees. The night will also be clear, and temperatures will drop again to around 30 degrees.
