Authorities said an employee called 911 around 8 a.m. Friday after seeing smoke coming from one of the Valco buildings. Fire officials said all of the employees escaped safely.
Firefighters from Moorefield Township arrived and found smoke coming from the building. They called in support from the city of Springfield and tankers from Pleasant, German and Springfield townships.
The fire was contained.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
