Adam Myers and Corey Davis recently performed the Heimlich maneuver on a customer who was choking inside Zink’s Meat Market in Franklin, according to Franklin Fire Chief Jonathan Westendorf.

While co-workers called 911, both Myers and Davis worked to dislodge the airway obstruction prior to the arrival of an EMS unit, according to the fire chief.
The two men “made a difference in our patient’s life,” Westendorf said.
Franklin City Council honored both men Monday with the city’s Good Neighbor Award as their family and friends packed council chambers.
