Groundbreaking today for Centerville assisted living facility

A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled this afternoon for the Symphony at Centerville, an assisted living and memory care facility.

The ceremony is from 4-6 p.m. at 7333 Paragon Road.

The Centerville location will consist of 64 Alzheimer’s disease/dementia assisted living beds and 21 additional assisted living beds. The Symphony at Centerville community will specialize in memory care.

Symphony’s memory care community will provide personalized care plans, coordinated on-site services, smaller, secured neighborhoods, 24-hour trained staff supervision, a secured outdoor garden area, specialized activities for smaller groups and regular communication with families.

Symphony at Centerville is managed by Compass Pointe Healthcare System, which operates two facilities in the Cleveland area and others across the country.

“Compass Pointe Healthcare System is committed to excellence in all aspects of senior living,” Sylvia Trevino, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Compass Pointe Healthcare System, said in a release. “From our beautifully designed communities, to our state-of-the-art programs and expertly trained staff, we strive to make life rich and fulfilling for seniors every day.”

Symphony at Centerville will start with three to four employees. More hiring is expected once construction is finished at the end of 2016.
