Italian restaurant owner opens second location

HUBER HEIGHTS — Deroma Italian Restaurant opened Thursday at 6254 Chambersburg Road near Brandt Pike (Ohio 201).

Deroma is owned by Fahri “Jimmy” Troni, who also owns Jimmy’s Italian Kitchen at 3002 Woodman Drive in Kettering. Troni said Jimmy’s Italian Kitchen customers who lived in the Huber Heights area encouraged him to open a second location closer to their homes.

The new restaurant seats 93 and has five employees, Troni said. The menu is similar to Jimmy’s and includes seafood, chicken and veal dishes, stuffed eggplant, pizzas and calzones, and a special will be offered daily. Deroma has a full liquor license.

Hours are Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., closed Sunday. Carryout and catering are available. For more information, call the restaurant at (937) 233-3604.
