Jones said that 16-year-old T.J. Eichelberger, who suffered second-degree burns and smoke inhalation, "is currently recovering from those injuries."
Damages to the home and contents were estimated at $35,000.
Fire officials noted that they found no working smoke alarms in the home. They believe that would have made a difference, said Deputy Chief Ron Wolfe.
