The pub at 2866 S. Dixie Drive is the successor to Murray’s Pub & Grub, which had previously operated for several years as Murray’s Place.

Co-owner Jeff Heil said it wasn’t lack of business that prompted the decision to close, but rather, a dispute with a previous owner and other issues that threatened to block the transfer of the bar’s liquor license.

Heil and Bobbie Hogan took over the business less than four months ago. About 10 employees will be affected by the closure, Heil said.
