Kroger recalls Cumberland Gap hams

Kroger is voluntarily recalling whole and half semi-boneless Cumberland Gap hams.

A Kroger spokesperson said there is no food or safety concern, but the Cincinnati-based grocery chain withdrew the hams because they “may not have the pink color expected of ham.”

Kroger has initiated its customer recall notification system. Customers who may have purchased a ham are notified through register receipt tape messages and phone calls.

Customers who purchased a Cumberland Gap ham can return it for a full refund.
